So long GM! After ~6 years, I’m starting a new job at uAvionix. There’s a lot I could say about it, but by and large, I’m very greatful to GM for the opportunities, growth, and relationships I was able to have while I was there, and I’m excited for the new things I’m going to do at uAvionix.

A year or so before I left GM, we started to adopt slack for messaging instead of MS Teams (which we kept using for meetings). Unlike Teams, slack lets users set a text “status”, and I wanted to set a “song of the week” based on of a list of songs that I could update myself. Setting my status automatically required the registration of an “app” or doing elaborate shenanigans to get my personal auth token, so instead I figured it was easy enough to just write a script that could manipulate a local list of songs, and put the selected song in my paste buffer. The script is inaccessible now, languishing on my old work laptop, but I was able to keep the file. What follows are the songs that I selected and the dates I selected them.
